W związku z realizacją Projektu “Iluzja formy – o kształtowaniu na uczelniach artystycznych” w latach 2022-2023, finansowanego z Państw Islandii, Liechtensteinu i Norwegii w ramach Funduszy EOG, mamy przyjemność zaprosić Państwa do udziału w Międzynarodowej Konferencji Naukowej pt: „Illusion of Form – o ‘kształtowaniu’ na uczelniach artystycznych.”, która odbędzie się w Poznaniu w dniach 23-25 października 2023 r.

Wydarzenie jest przygotowywane przez Wydział Rzeźby Uniwersytetu Artystycznego im. Magdaleny Abakanowicz w Poznaniu we współpracy z Wydziałem Kunst Musik Design, Uniwersytetu w Bergen (Norwegia) i odbędzie się w salach Poznańskiego Centrum Dziedzictwa, Brama Poznania ICHOT (ul. Gdańska 2, 61-123 Poznań)

Konferencja ma na celu przeanalizowanie nowych strategii nauczania w szeroko rozumianej edukacji artystycznej na poziomie szkolnictwa wyższego. Naszym celem jest zbadanie oraz analiza złożonych relacji pomiędzy warsztatowym, narzędziowym sposobem edukacji artystycznej wykorzystującym nowe technologie, takie jak: Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Technologie Szybkiego Prototypowania pozostałych Nowych Mediów czy nawet Technik Hologramu Analogowego, a związkami warsztatu konceptualnego opartego na tradycyjnych metodach edukacyjnych wykorzystujących klasyczny warsztat rzeźbiarski, fotograficzny, działania site specific, performance i instalację artystyczną. W toku analiz chcemy szukać odpowiedzi na pytanie o podobieństwa i różnice wynikające ze stosowania wyżej wymienionych, jakże odmiennych narzędzi oraz badać ich użyteczność w procesie dydaktycznym.

Wykorzystując tę perspektywę, proponujemy zróżnicowanie treści poruszanych na konferencji według wzajemnie się przenikających bloków tematycznych: artystycznym, edukacyjnym i technologicznym. Przyjrzymy się dynamicznemu procesowi zmian, związanych z anektowaniem obszaru sztuk wizualnych przez przestrzeń publiczną, wirtualną i galeryjną. Interesują nas różne spojrzenia na zmiany, jakie zachodzą zarówno w sposobie kreacji dzieła wizualnego jak i w sposobie edukacji artystycznej opartej na wykorzystaniu nowych perspektyw, narzędzi i form w dydaktyce.

Konferencja będzie prowadzona symultanicznie w dwóch językach: angielskim i polskim. Będzie również tłumaczona na polski język migowy.

Wydarzenie ma charakter otwarty i bezpłatny, a skierowane jest do specjalistów zainteresowanych zakresem tematycznym konferencji, reprezentujących różne dziedziny nauki.

About conference:

The Illusion of Form International Conference is designed to examine new teaching strategies in art education in the broader sense at the tertiary level. 

The aim of the conference is to explore and analyse the complex relationship between a workshop-based, tool-based approach to art education using new technologies such as Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Rapid Prototyping Technologies of other New Media, Analogue Hologram Techniques, and the relationship between a conceptual workshop based on traditional educational methods using classical sculpture, photography, site-specific activities, performance and art installation. In the course of the analyses, we want to look for an answer to the question of similarities and differences resulting from the use of the above-mentioned, very different tools, and explore their usefulness in the didactic process.

Based on this perspective, we propose to diversity the conference’s content according to mutually interpenetrating thematic blocks: artistic, educational and technological. We will look into the dynamic process of change associated with the annexation of the visual arts field by public, virtual and gallery spaces. We are interested in different perspectives on the transformations that are taking place both in the way of creation of visual work and in the way of art education based on the use of new approaches, tools and forms in didactics.  

The conference will be simultaneously translated into Polish and Polish Sign Language.
