Kino-Teatr Apollo, Poznań
Sala Widowiskowa
wstęp wolny
To ostatnia odsłona cyklu Oranges on Fire.
Powidok.
Jak wszystkie wydarzenia z cyklu Oranges on Fire, Last Sunset pokażemy tylko raz.

This is the final edition of the Oranges on Fire series. We are returning to where it all began: the Apollo Cinema-Theatre.
On September 28 at 6:00 PM, we will gather for the last time as part of a project that, over the past nine years, has evolved through artistic activities, meetings, performances, films, journeys, and experiments. Oranges on Fire has repeatedly changed its form, scale, and participants, while remaining a space for shared experience, testing relationships, and exploring what can happen between people when art becomes a reason to come together.
Last Sunset is not a summary. I am more interested in the moment when something still endures, even though it is already clear that it will soon disappear. The in-between moment. The afterimage. The last light after sunset.
During the event, there will be a final screening of a film that brings this long-term artistic and research process to a close. Over time, this process led me increasingly toward questions about the nature of groups, communities, and temporary alliances formed around art.
Following the screening, there will be a public defense of my doctoral dissertation, The Formation and Dissolution of Artistic Groups, prepared under the supervision of Piotr Bosacki. The dissertation examines how artistic communities come into being, what forces sustain them, and why some eventually dissolve, leaving behind traces, memories, and new stories.
Like all events in the Oranges on Fire series, Last Sunset will be presented only once.
