„The exhibition gathers works from the laboratory “Narrative Language in Drawing: Contemporary Comics” from its genesis until today.
Its main objective is not only to showcase the broad array of perspectives one can find in the acknowledgement of narration and storytelling. Yet also a display of the sensitivity the artist must face in successfully binding time and space in an accessible yet expressive manner; skilfully articulating the poetry of image sequentialisation in conjunction with words.
Ultimately, the showcase offers the opportunity to understand the image not as an isolated expressive outcome, yet as a minuscule unit embedded in a monumental sequential engineering, and the countless opportunities it offers to the artist when it takes this storytelling formula”.
