18 czerwca 2017r., w ramach drugiej odsłony Gate art zone w Düsseldorfie, odbył się performance dwóch studentek z Uniwersytetu Artystycznego w Poznaniu- Martyny Hadyńskiej i Izabeli Sitarskiej. Razem z Cristianą Cott Negoescu i Natalią Drabik z Kunstakademie Düsseldorf stworzyły projekt Students – Interaction, którego kuratorem została artystka i absolwentka UAP Angelika Fojtuch

Celem projektu Gate art zone jest utworzenie alternatywnej przestrzeni dla artystów na brzegach Renu, w samym sercu Düsseldorfu.
GATE art zone jest symboliczną bramą do miasta. O jej treści i formie stanowić będą efemeryczne elementy, takie jak mural, performance, instalacja czy performance dźwiękowy.
Artystom oddano do dyspozycji pięć wnęk w murze nadbrzeża, który rozciąga się wzdłuż bulwaru krzyżującego się z rzeką pomiędzy Burgplatz i Oberkasseler Bruecke.
Jednym z celów projektu jest stworzenie okazji do spotkania i nawiązania artystycznego dialogu pomiędzy artystami z Düsseldorfu i Polski.
W GATE art zone zaplanowano, pomiędzy kwietniem i październikiem 2017, cztery wydarzenia.

GATE art zone wspierają Kulturamt der Landeshauptstadt Düsseldorf oraz Instytut Polski w Dusseldorfie.

GATE art zone

On July 18th, 2017r., during the Gate art zone in Düsseldorf, two artists from University of Arts Poznan- Martyna Hadyńska and Izabela Sitarska held a performance called Students – Interaction, together with Cristiana Cott Negoescu and Natalią Drabik from Kunstakademie Düsseldorf. The performance was curated by Polish artist and the graduate of UAP, Angelika Fojtuch.

The aim of the project is to create an alternative space dedicated to artists, in the heart of the city, on the shore line of the river Rhine in Düsseldorf.
GATE art zone is a symbolic gate to the city. The form and the content of the gate will be created by ephemeral artifacts: murals, performances, installations, sound-performances.
GATE art zone artists work in a space of five niches in the quay wall. It stretches along the boulevard at the junction with the river between Burgplatz and Oberkasseler Bruecke.
One of the goals of the project is the meeting and artistic dialogue between artists from Düsseldorf and Poland.
GATE art zone is scheduled for four events in 2017, in the period from April to October.
