UAP is visited annually by students from many different countries and Polish students go abroad. Moreover, the university has an extensive exchange program with non-European countries such as China, Israel, Brazil, Japan and the United States.

UAP also offers full-time BA and MA degree programmes taught in English under a common name ‘Study in English’. Each year, we accept dozen of students from all around the world.

Applications for programmes beginning in the academic year 2021/2022 can be submitted until 30 June 2021.

NOTE:  The structure and form of tuition for the next academc year will depend on the regulations issued by the Polish governent in regard to the COVID-19 pandemic.


ENROLMENT PROCEDURE – REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

FOR BA CANDIDATES

  • application form that includes personal data corresponding to Applicant’s passport data and full-color photograph,
  • cover letter,
  • original, certified-true copy or notarized photocopy of high school completion certificate – corresponding to Polish matura exam. Documents should be legalized or
    apostilled by the Embassy of Poland or Consulate and translated into English (if not issued in this language),
  • English language certificate – see the list below,
  • portfolio of 15-20 images (including drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, film or multimedia projects depending on the chosen degree program).
    Works in the porfolio should not be older than 2 years. No more than 3 movie files (*.mov) can be included. Detailed information can be found in How to prepare a portfolio,
  • confirmation of payment of enrollment fee,
  • proof of health insurance covering the period of the the whole academic year in Poland or a written statement in which the applicant states that they will arrive in Poland with a valid health insurance that covers the period of the whole academic year in Poland or that they will join the voluntary health insurance plan offered by Polish National Health Fund upon arrival.

  • copy of BA diploma translated into English (if not issued in this language),
  • document confirming the curriculum of completed studies (supplement to the diploma/transcript of records in English),
  • English language certificate – see the list below,
  • letter of recommendation (in English) by a lecturer representing the university applicant graduated from,
  • a portfolio of 15-20 images (including drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, film or multimedia projects depending on the chosen degree program). • EUR 5000 for 1 year of BA studies
• EUR 6000 for 1 year of MA studies


July 15 – cover letters and portfolios of applicants shall be reviewed by the recruitment board appointed by the Senate of the University of the Arts Poznan. Each applicant will be informed about the result. The maximum score is 15 points and the minimum eligibility score is 10 points (the maximum scores are: 5 points for cover letter and 10 points for portfolio).
Accepted applicants are required to pay the tuition fee for the first year or for the first semester until 15 August.

Beginning of September – each applicant will receive Admission Letter that allows to apply for the visa at the Embassy of Poland or consulate in applicant’s country.
Beginning of October – candidates are required to deliver the original versions of documents. University will assist them in the formal process of diploma recognition. By law, the recognition process must be completed until the end of the first semester of studies.
