Lida Macha is an artist born and based in Athens. She explores memory and the subconscious through environments of analogue and digital media, sound, text, various objects and materials, technology and her body. The physicality of the process is important in her practice. She is currently interested in posthuman aspects of the present technological environment. She has a BA in Photography from the University of Arts Poznan, and an MA in Digital Arts from the Athens School of Fine Arts.
