Adam Gillert – ur. 1.12.1989 w Poznaniu. W 2008 roku rozpoczął studia na Akademii Sztuk Pięknych w Poznaniu – Wydział Grafiki i Komunikacji Wizualnej, kierunek Grafika Warsztatowa. Uzyskuje tytuł licencjacki Uniwersytetu Artystycznego w Poznaniu (poprzednio Akademii Sztuk Pięknych) po obronie pracy artystycznej “Blok dla lalek”, wykonanej pod nadzorem prof. Mirosława Pawłowskiego, prof. zw. UAP. W 2011 roku rozpoczyna studia drugiego stopnia na Wydziale Grafiki i Komunikacji Wizualnej na kierunku Grafika Warsztatowa i  kończy je w  2013 roku, broniąc dyplom po współpracy z promotorami prof. UAP Romanem Kubickim, (promotorem pracy teoretycznej „Agresja w sztuce“) i prof. Mirosławem Pawłowskim (promotorem pracy artystycznej „Self-consciousness gives birth to needs – Samoświadomość rodzi potrzeby“). Równolegle, od 2012 roku podejmuje studia drugiego stopnia na Wydziale Malarstwa Uniwersytetu Artystycznego w  Poznaniu. W  2014 roku uzyskuje dyplom malarski, po napisaniu pracy teoretycznej pod kierunkiem dr. hab. Romana Kubickiego, „Wzajemne przenikanie się malarstwa i fotografii“. Pracę artystyczną dyplomu wydziału Malarstwa – cykl “Album”realizuje pod nadzorem prof. Marka Przybyła.
Brał udział w szeregu wystaw zbiorowych, autorskich, oraz otrzymywał wyróżnienia w ogólnopolskich przeglądach malarskich. W 2016 roku znajduje się w gronie laureatów Międzynarodowego Konkursu Malarskiego Fundacji Trzy Mosty, jak również rozpoczyna studia doktoranckie na Wydziale Malarstwa, równolegle z pełnieniem obowiązków asystenta I Pracowni Rysunku na Uniwersytecie Artystycznym w Poznaniu.

Adam Gillert – born 1.12.1989 in Poznan. In 2008 begins studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan – Faculty of Graphic Design and Visual Communication, Printmaking Department. Receives bachelor degree at the University of Arts in Poznan (formerly the Academy of Fine Arts), for artistic work „Block for dolls”, made under the supervision of prof. Miroslaw Pawlowski. In 2011 began studies of the second degree, continuing the Faculty of Graphic (…), Printmaking Department and finished it with the master’s defense of theoretical work “Aggression in arts”, and graphic work „Self-consciousness gives birth to needs”, after collaboration with thesis supervisors prof. of University of Arts in Poznan Roman Kubicki and prof. Mirosław Pawłowski. In parallel, beginning 2012, begun second-degree studies at the Faculty of Painting at the University of Arts in Poznan. In 2014, gaduates with diploma in painting, after theoretical work under prof. UAP Roman Kubicki, „The mutual percolation of painting and photography” and presenting artistic work – series of paintings entitled „Album” realized under the supervision of prof. Marek Przybył.
Participated in several collective and authorial exhibitions, and received commendations in nation-wide painting competitions. In 2016 one of the laureates of the Three Bridges Foundation, an International Painting Contest and began doctoral studies at the Faculty of Painting, as well as work as an assistant in the I Drawing Studio at the University of Arts in Poznan.
