Petrohradská kolektiv to niezależne centrum kulturalne, wspierające twórczość artystów nowego pokolenia – aktualnie w formie trzech projektów (o projektach można przeczytać w języku angielskim na stronie http://www.petrohradskakolektiv.com/?lang=en).

W roku 2016 Petrohradská kolektiv zainicjowała program rezydencyjny dla artystów zagranicznych, który zamierza rozwinąć w roku 2017 w postaci trzech regularnie ogłaszanych zaproszeń otwartych. Spośród przesłanych zgłoszeń komisja wybierze za każdym razem aż trzech twórców, którym zaoferuje zakwaterowanie, wsparcie operacyjne i PR, profesjonalne konsultacje z kuratorem oraz ograniczone wsparcie finansowe. CALL FOR APPLICATIONS for Petrohradská kolektiv Residency Project 2017 in Prague, Czech Rep.

Petrohradská 1.2.3. is a cultural venue located in the building of an old chocolate factory in Prague, Czech Rep. Our aim is to support emerging artists working in disciplines of fine art, visual, sonic and performance art, photography, illustration, design, and literature. The residency is an opportunity for independent, self-­led professional development, artistic exchange and experimentation. The artist-in-residence will be provided with accommodation in a single room in a flat shared with other artists-in-residents, a studio space, basic production and curatorial support, and limited financial support for the realization of their project (for example costs of material, rental of equipment). Travel costs and per-diems are not provided for by the Petrohradská kolektiv Residency Project. Residents are expected to complete and present a project during their stay. We will be accepting up to three artists-in-residents per open call.

Applicants should have at least a moderate level of spoken English, and should feel comfortable engaging in artistic discussions in English. It is important that all applicants research Petrohradská kolektiv thoroughly before submitting their application, so as to be fully aware of the context which they would, if successful, be entering.

Deadline for applications: March 31^st, 2017. Duration of residency: 3 – 5 weeks, anytime between May 1^th and June 30^th 2017

Please use the attached APPLICATION FORM and save as PDF. Your application should also include the following attachments:

• A CV detailing recent solo and group exhibitions, workshops and residencies
• Any relevant documentation (e.g. articles or papers published about your work, exhibitions, publications, etc).
• Images – please submit 5 to 15 good quality images of your recent work. The images should include captions or short descriptions. Please send image files that are high quality but small in size (less than 250KB each is preferable).
• Videos/films – we recommend providing links to your own website, Vimeo page, YouTube page, etc. Please do not send video files.
