I never really notice that person in the mirror. They never catch me off- guard. There is no suggestion that they will ever do anything… unexpected. For you though… well… your world is different. Sometimes you look into a mirror and see a stranger.

Diana Fiedler (b 1976 in Góra); studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań (Drawing – diploma in Prof. Jarosław Kozłowski studio, Printing and Art Education) and at the Royal College of Art in London (Fine Art Photography). In 2006–2007 she was co-curator of the Aneks Gallery in Poznań. She has exhibited in solo and group shows, including at the Oko i Ucho Gallery in Poznań, Foksal Gallery in Warsaw, El Gallery in Elbląg, BWA in Gorzów, Naprzeciw Gallery in Poznań, CK Zamek in Poznań, Profile Foundation in Warsaw, Muzalewska Gallery in Poznań, AT Gallery in Poznań, BWA in Bydgoszcz, 2yk Galerie in Berlin, Kunst Bauwerk/Tabakfabrik, Vierraden, Galeria Amfilada in Szczecin, Gulbenkian Galleries, and the Royal College of Art in London. At present assistant professor at the University of Fine Arts in Poznań. Works includes photography, video, objects, drawings and installations. Lives and works in Poznań.
